AFRICAN TWIST  - LIMITED STOCK UNTIL MARCH 2010
There's no other indoor plant like it

Have you ever seen a more interesting indoor plant? The uniquely attractive form of the "African Twist' is created by braiding the stems of a hardy succulent plant called Sansevieria cylindrica. The result is an eye-catching living sculpture that is truly one of a kind. Display it anywhere indoors and it most certainly will become the talking piece when visitors drop in.

The other great thing about African Twist is that it's incredibly tough. It doesn't need much sun or water to keep it looking good, in fact it "thrives on neglect'. Everyone can enjoy this stylish new release plant, even black thumbs!

Did you know? Sansevieria cylindrica is closely related to "mother-in-law's tongue' and is just as indestructible!

Caring for your African Twist
  • Keep your African Twist in a pot. It's not intended for planting in the garden.
  • You can grow your African Twist in shade or sun. If you decide to move it from a shady spot to a sunny spot, gradually introduce it to more sun over a period of a few weeks to avoid burning the foliage.
  • Water very sparingly. A little water once a month is all it needs.
  • Your African Twist needs very little feeding. Just a little liquid fertiliser will help to keep them looking green.
  • The African Twist does not grow any taller but will produce baby shoots from the base. Pinch these off when they appear to keep the original sculptural integrity of your display.
